Milan, March 2, 2021 – Today, March 2, 2021, the first international contract has been signed for the supply of MyOT, the device designed to connect private and industrial OpenTherm boilers to the Z-Wave network. It implements internal logics useful for achieving objectives related to Predictive Maintenance, Adaptive Energy Management, and qualitative data analysis.
The development project began in 2019 and was completed a few months ago thanks to the collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino, which worked on expanding the Machine Learning algorithm on the Predictive Maintenance front.
MyOT was developed to control the main boiler brands of the new generation that support the OpenTherm protocol, and it is compatible with all gateways that communicate via Z-Wave. In addition to remote boiler control, it is a powerful tool to predict faults and manufacturing defects that are normally imperceptible before a system failure occurs.
Marco Vicamini, Managing Director of SmartDHOME: “We are very pleased about this first opportunity for international collaboration with Energylines Engineering Ltd. After years of investment and research in developing this algorithm, we are finally ready to serve the heating market, helping boiler manufacturers and installers improve their products and/or services.”
